Update on why no update

So, we moved as most (all) of you hopefully know. Well, everyone keeps asking for pics and now that I have taken the initiative to take a moment to take the pics of our fabulous new casa...we cannot find the charger cord for the the thingy-ma-jigger that allows me to upload the pictures from the camera itself to the pc. So there. No pictures until we find that.
We are AWESOME though and loving the house you cannot see!!!!

Out and About

Gigi is in town this weekend and we have been soaking up our last days here on Canterbury Drive!

Officially Fall!

Each year, we head to the North Georgia mountains to celebrate Mac Daddy's birthday. This one was a biggie. 6-0. Yep. And we had quite a trip. We vowed to take lots of pictures of the adults this year. It still didn't happen. Sorry, folks but you will have to look at the adorable children some more. (Minus sweet Margot. I somehow managed to only have the camera out when she was asleep or something!) I will do better next time.

TN Valley Fair

Collin had been getting "yellow lights" here and there at school so we used the fair as incentive for him to receive green lights all week. It worked that week. This week, however we forgot to give some sort of incentive. Back to the drawing board I suppose. But here are some pics of "the week of five straight green lights".

Git'n along

The kids were getting along so well last night that Ryan and I were a bit astonished. Ryan actually took pictures. They played just like this, sharing everything from the horsey to bath toys for a couple of hours. It must have been their Anniversary gift to us...

Busy Busy entering Fall!

I know, it has been well over a month so here goes...

1. Collin and Aneliese had their "graduation" ceremony from Mother's Day Out. Aneliese is now in the big kids class.


2.Collin began 1st grade at Mooreland Height Elem a few weeks ago. We are unbelievably pleased with this school and his teacher, Mrs. Sawyer. It really is a fantastic little school.
3. Aneliese is potty trained. This is huge.
4. Collin got his first round of illness in over a year. High fever, nasty rash, and virus but he is a tough cookie and weathered the storm with a smile. (He would not appreciate me posting pics of the rash, however.)
5. Mom and Dad are celebrating 7 wonderful years of blissful marriage on Monday!
6. Collin has a buddy with a real mo-hawk.
7. Mom had a fabulous "Meet the Artists" Gallery opening in Asheville and we got to stay in a hotel and go out to a fabulous dinner with Gigi and Rob.




8. Daddy got a new truck.

9. We are currently cheering on the Vols in the first game of the year! Happy Football season everyone!

Soaking it up

Summer, that is. We are doing all we can to take advantage of the last weeks of this fabulous summer. First, we had another fabulous photo shoot with Angela.

We have also taken evening strolls through the neighborhood and visited with neighbors and their pets. (Please note: our children were NOT the ones poking the bunnies with a tiki torch.)

We have been to the park and out on the boat with Nana. (None of which is pictured, sorry.) In the meantime, we are ordering new school supplies and backpacks online b/c this Mommy cannot handle shopping with both a 2 year old and a 6 year old. It just doesn't work anymore. Love to you all from the little Henley clan. Please excuse our absence while we take it all in for the next few weeks.

P.S. Has anyone seen Collin?

I know I am only 6 but sometimes I feel like I am at least 7. I think it is because I am wise behind my ears.
