Soaking it up

Summer, that is. We are doing all we can to take advantage of the last weeks of this fabulous summer. First, we had another fabulous photo shoot with Angela.

We have also taken evening strolls through the neighborhood and visited with neighbors and their pets. (Please note: our children were NOT the ones poking the bunnies with a tiki torch.)

We have been to the park and out on the boat with Nana. (None of which is pictured, sorry.) In the meantime, we are ordering new school supplies and backpacks online b/c this Mommy cannot handle shopping with both a 2 year old and a 6 year old. It just doesn't work anymore. Love to you all from the little Henley clan. Please excuse our absence while we take it all in for the next few weeks.

P.S. Has anyone seen Collin?

I know I am only 6 but sometimes I feel like I am at least 7. I think it is because I am wise behind my ears.

Kingston, TN: July 4th 09

We sure are missing Collin who is in SC learning to swim, going to movies and aquariums and all sorts of fun things. We were very lucky to have been invited once again for the July 4 festivities at Linda and Gary's again on the lake in Kingston. Aneliese was thrilled to have Harper's full attention without Collin there but the rest of us were really missing him. Here are a few pics of the weekend. I am hoping I will get more via email from other camera's.

Soaking up some Daddy time

Ryan is out of town another week for work so we spent Father's Day soaking up some Daddy time. We took him to a fantastic dinner at his favorite place and even popped the cork to one of our saved wines from the Dordogne Wine Valley. Nice. Happy Father's Day to all Dads!!!
